Betting odds expect Brady to join NFC in 2020 – NBC Sports Philadelphia

Tom Brady rocked the NFL world on the second day of free agency Tuesday, announcing he’s leaving the Patriots (see story) after 20 years in New England.

The football world is still reeling, and while a few sportsbooks took their “Where will Brady play in 2020?” futures off the table for a bit after the news broke, we have updated odds on the legendary quarterback’s next stop.

It comes with bad news for Eagles fans: if Brady’s still got it, the playoff picture in the NFC could be even muddier next season.

Over at FanDuel Sportsbook, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the overwhelming favorites to land Brady at -290, with the Los Angeles Chargers trailing behind at +290:

A weird one in FanDuel’s odds: The Giants, who have ostensibly turned their franchise over to Daniel Jones, having better odds than the Bears.

It won’t happen, so it’s not a huge concern, but I definitely would like to keep Brady out of the NFC East.

FoxBet Sportsbook also updated its odds after Tuesday’s news, with the same projection: Brady to Tampa at -175, with the Chargers at +200:
